1977 Honda CT125 Gas Tank

Guys, this tank is hard to find. Will any old XL gas tanks fit this bike? What year and model (XL100,XL125, ECT)?

The CT125 is the same as the XL125 except for the seat and a few other minor things.

Where do you live? I may know a guy that has one.

Maybe you want to post over in Fleamarket?

http://www.thewheelerdealershop.com/ vintage bike and pitbike shop in Stillwater Oklahoma. He specializes in vintage Hondas. I know I have personally tripped over 5 to 10 cts of varying displacement around his shop. He has an eBay store linked up to his website and his phone number and email is there as well. Peruse the inventory and if you don't see what you're after call him, he bout about 1000 to 1500 bikes from a boarder and is slowly going through them, been at it for about 3 years now.

Hope this helps.

I live in California. Just trying to get all the pieces to get this bike together. I'm a huge fan of the 77 CT125's. They are perfect for my hunting application. They wiring, gas tank, and petcock are the only things holding me back. I might have to rebuild the carb, but that's not a big deal. Thanks for the feedback!

I know I'm a little late but a 77 XL tank will require small mods at the rear mount to mount on the CT but it is possible. the rear mount varies between the two. I used one when I couldnt find a CT tank in decent enough condition.
