Current "in" list is post 49. If its wrong, just LMK. I only added FF's if they said the "in" word or "I want one too.". Others said they were interested but I did not add them to the list yet. This will be a "no pressure" group deal, but I won't order one for a person unless they've promised to pay for it - we can work the details out as we get closer. And I'm open to ANY suggestions!

My post way back may have been a little ambiguous - yes, confirming I'm in.

49 -- $$$ , maybe a list of folks willing to pre-pay a deposit to ease the load.
I say deposit because we won't know the exact cost until the deal is done.
Downside - it complicates the book keeping.
I'll front my tool cost.

I've got both you guys on the list. If we get ready to place an order, I'll double check with everyone on the list and confirm, also get a regular email addy (as I can't always access ADV) and let you know, as far as I can tell, what the total cost will be. You are welcome to bail at that time. Once I place the order (how did I get involved with this?) I'll have a few weeks before my VISA bill falls and is due, so I would take payments then and I'm hoping everyone is square with me by the time the tools arrive in Florida, and I'll ship them out. I really don't want anybody's $ yet as I haven't even spoke with the seller. Once I have a number to order I'll call him.

I am definitely in.

I don't keep credit cards (long story, involving ex-wives), I can pay via PayPal gift or shoot you a money order, or personal check if you prefer.

Got mine from the Cafe Husky group buy. Nice tool. Box dimensions are:

13 3/8" long
7 5/8" wide
1 3/4" high

Weight: don't have a scale, but the USPS shipping label says 4 lbs.

No worry, I'd rather have checks - my PP balance gets too high and I start shopping with abandon . I'd rather wait until we actually place an order, then I've got 3-4 weeks before my Visa bill is due. I would hope to square up with everybody by the time I received them and be ready to ship them all to you. I can take PP too, but let's wait until we know the exact cost. If you confirm you want one, I'll order it for you. I don't need a deposit.

Put me down for one. I'll pay with whatever works for you best when/if we get this going.

I'd join a Group Buy

I think that the tool looks really slick. I'd definitely be up to join a group buy.

I hope that the rod that goes through the wheel bearings unscrews so I can substitute something else if it doesn't fit.

Thanks, that gives me enough of an idea to go to UPS. All the shipping should be pretty close in the CONUS.

It certainly does.

The standard rod is a 20mm diameter. The silver sleeve you see in the photo (mine) is a 25mm adapter. There are 15mm and 17mm rods available for an extra cost.

If you could please count me in for a group buy purchase (if it happens). Would be happy to pay whenever/however it is convenient for you.

Thanks

Steve,

It appears that some sort of adapter bushing set is included in the box, but in any case I'm assuming that I may modify the center post (if needed) so that it can extend down into a center socket in the changing stand. ---- or ----
A bushing engaging both wheel bearings and the stand so as to 100% free up both hands should be slick.

I'm in for one + an extra 16mm adapter rod. Thanks.
