Hey Crank

Looking forward to converting over my 690 as well. After we talked I did a little research and there is a Android app that will communicate with the MS ECU, in both directions, so it will log and allow alterations from a smartphone or tablet. I have a 7" android tablet that is my "nav" computer... running dualsportmaps.com app. IMO app is better than most over the counter GPS systems, especially for road/trail combinations. But the meat of this is this also means that with a bluetooth link I can run the MSlink app and have real time monitoring/logging/tunning capabilies all from the same system on the dash

**UPDATE** Heading to Boston the end of next week to refine the MAP a bit more. We've been running it with TPS mapping only, so now we plan on tuning the MAP portion of the matrix. It runs so good now, I'm not sure how it can get any better but it will for sure. First race is the Sandblast Rally on March 3rd and then I'm heading to Mexico again for the MX1K rally. I'm really looking forward to opening Her up in the sand

How are you doing this tuning? I'm running with MAP only on my VW and microsquirt msextra firmware... i'd like to know if you are using autotune or doing micro adjustments on the dyno?

Adjustments on the dyno mostly. We plan on doing some tweaking at the Sandblast rally on March 3rd. I'll be running a data log while I ride to see where the FI is during real world riding.

The harness isn't for sale yet Evil, we're working on it still...patience grasshopper

DSG is injecting my friends Super Enduro with MS also, so when the SE is done, harness work should start.

Hey Evil if we convert our bikes to carb it would make every thing soon much easier imagine that an electrically reliable
Bike , oh happy days , no fuel pump to burn out , it would be like having a factory bike with Cranks loom

crankshaft, what firmware are you running? have you run into any issues with laptop connected to the bike, monitoring the squirt?

We had a problem trying to get a crank signal, so we went with an earlier version of the firmware and it showed a signal. Have no idea why but it happened to a guy that squirted a 450 BMW also.

Hitting the dyno on Monday to tweak the mapping a bit and I should be riding it on the ice Feb 3rd. A month later, I'll be racing it at the Sandblast rally in SC.
Looking forward to beating on it
