Here's a testament to how tough Honda made the engine... So far the test bike has 30 dyno runs without trouble.

I am extremely pleased with the Yoshimura full system exhaust. Not loud at all, runs perfect with the addition of the EJK controller as preset for a Stage 1 modification. I'm good to go.

About flaming others or spending a lot of the site owner's resources on thread creep, I've been around here for some time and have made a lot of contributions, context, ride reports, organized rides in Colorado, and been to a number of Rallies.

Don't concern yourself with my post count, it doesn't imply I know jack. 90% was BSing in the proper forum, JoMomma.
But.
That's whats coming next. There will be a hint from the Mods to take personal head butting there, if you've got the nards for it. It's a fucking shark tank. What happens to threads that get a few sore necks going is... People involved get a week or a month locked out, thw Mods take their Volunteer Time to cull out all shit, and the whole scene takes a step backwards.

Here's my tip.... Don't Be A Dick.
Well said.

I don't really know either on the cross bar ... they offer one that has an upward bend and it looks bad ... IMO

Hey guys, new here. Been lurking around this thread for a while. Decided to sign up today since, if everything works out, I'll be picking up my new CRF250L on Saturday! Pretty excited! Been trying to get these guys down to the price I want. First quote was almost $5700! Our sales tax here in WA is pretty high, but I'm hoping to get the price a lot lower than that. Not to experienced at buying, but we'll see how it goes. I'll post pics as soon as it's home.

We require proof of ownership to post in this thread ... typically demonstrated by mailing me $100 to assist in the ownership verification process.

Think Central American border crossings to gain an understand of the level of service you'll receive.

Welcome to the team!

Don't let Flagger pull your leg too hard....but your dealer (aka Steeler) sure IS pulling your leg. My CRF was under $4500 before a $95 documentation fee required by MI & OH dealers, and of course 6% sales tax. I KNOW your taxes in WA are pretty sucky....my son just relocated to Seattle, and he told me about the ugly taxes on booze. But we're here to tell you the CRF is a fine little ride, and the accessory providers are on board with racks and all sorts of goodies!
EDIT: I googled around for prices.....my old geezer brain forgets where at the moment though!
EDIT: www dot cycletrader dot com!!!!! DUH HOLY CRAP I REMEMBER!!!

If you haven't brought the bike home, don't buy it at that price! It is well worth your time to drive to Ellensburg, and get the bike for MSRP, without any bogus fees!

Just talked to my local dealer, they can't even get one, and if I wanted to order one it would be $5500 OTD, Then again this dealer, san luis motorsports in slo, is the worlds worst motorcycle dealer. I wouldn't buy anything from them anyway, I was just curious.

Thanks for finding that. I'll be calling them in the morning. Ellensburg is only about 2 hours away or so.

LED Marker???

Ok hooked up the tail light and the rear markers. work great. Didnt install the new relay yet so they blink fast, no big deal untill inspection time.

problem with the front. there are 3 wires for the front blinkers. ground, blinker and running lights but the led's have only 2 wires. power and ground. so i hooked the new led's up to the power and the ground and left the running lights wire unhooked. tested it out and nothing will blink, or light up now. So then i just touched the running light wire to the power and they lit up but still nothing will flash.

do you think the relay will fix this problem or is there something else i am missing.? any thoughts?

Interesting! I just saw one too online. Just a stock photo though and not on a bike so it just looked like a bar. Hahaha There has to be a reason they went that way. I wonder what they were considering when they set up the damper that way? I am very anxious to here reports on mods to work it out. I know Lost was looking forward to the kit for awhile now.

I saw something a ways back but just did a search and didn't come up with anything. But I'm not very good at finding squat on search so far.

Or... drive a few hours south to Oregon and pay less than $5000 out the door. We have no sales tax here. I paid $4950 including Oregon tags and registration. Not sure what WA requires in that realm. I think Oregon and Washington have a deal where they respect the other state. I bought my BMW f800ST in Washington a few years ago. Again, no sales tax. Good luck.
