Nice farkles. But curious why you're changing out the gauge cluster. You don't like the icon of a V8 engine on a dirtbike?

this was my starter pile .... I also had my forks built by Race Tech. I also have a Corbin seat. This Tuesday my 305 Big Bore kit arrives and will be installed the following week.
I also have IRC TR8 Battle Rally tires and Zeta short pivoting levers along with a Zeta front sprocket cover.
And 13/42 sprockets.

I am really looking forward to the 305 !!!

Which shop did you get the YSS shock from? Did they have it in stock or it had to be ordered? i will have only 2 weeks in Bkk and Chiang Mai, so i think i need to order it before i go...unless there is a shop that would definitely have it in stock.

Then try the Dirtshop in Bangkok , they have a Website . Send them a Mail

I got my from the local Thai scooter modify Shop in Phuket Town .
Place the Order , wait 4 Weeks .
With the Offroadshop in Chiang Mai i had only Problems placing a Order .
They promis me every day something differnt but never deliver .

If the Dirtshop not answer ( they dit many times ) you can try one thing .

Google for Riders Corner Bar in Chiang Mai .
The Owner ( Phil ) is a very nice Guy . He dont have a Bike or Parts Shop but rent out Big Bikes know the CRF and organise Off Road Bike Trips .
The Offroad Part Shop is just next Door , maybe he can help .

Uni Filter Australia

I received the new foam filter from Uni Filter Australia. Ramz did a write up here http://www.rickramsey.net/CRF250Lmods.htm#airfilter as well. The filter itself is a two piece foam filter. The two section of foam separate to make oiling easier. The core filter is glued to a rubber plate that includes a slit to slip into the air box mounting flange. I had heard these were a bit difficult to install due to the rubber not sliding very well on the plastic of the air box. I used a little foam filter sealing grease to lightly coat the plastic around the outside of the air box mounting flange. The filter slid right in. I used NO TOIL to oil the outer filter then slipped it over the core filter while in was already mounted in the air box. A snorkel mod or removal is necessary, otherwise it presses into the top of the foam filter once installed. I am counting on better airflow from stock and hope to save a little money over time since it is reusable. The filter was about $72 shipped to the US from Australia.
