Australian Adventure Travel Film Festival

Welcome to the Adventure Travel Film Festival, founded by British Motorcycle Adventure legends, Austin Vince (Twice around the world on a Suzuki DR350) and Lois Pryce ( Alaska to Ushia and London to Capetown on Yamaha trailbikes ).

Its not just an international celebration of the greatest adventure travel films from the 1920s to the present day. Its a great excuse to get on your bike and ride to Bright. One of the motorcycle riding meccas of Australia.

In theory, its all about all forms of adventure travel. Have a look at the main street on Friday evening or Saturday/Sunday afternoons and you'll see that the majority of people arriving are on motorbikes.

The festival will be landing on February 14-16 2014. See you there!

It appears that Paul Carter from "Is that thing a diesel?" may be coming. That will be a treat if it comes off.

Volunteers anyone?

Interested in being part of something big? Join us at the 2014 ATFF! We are looking for volunteers for some roles such as registration desk, setup etc. Usually just two hours at a time, not too big a demand on your time as you're there to have a great time. If you are interested, please let me know. Thanks.

Found a short for one of last year's films. Whilst not on the schedule for this year, it gives an insight into the content and quality of the films shown each year. The short can be found at:

Fantastic,Robert Fulton jr adventure rider + . Loved the riding gear and the fact that many of these counties were still under British rule and were probably safer than they are today and pre Mao china , it would have been a real insight.
