I've used that very line when running knuckle draggers on quads off my place

I totally agree with this. ^

I guess I should have asked "Does anyone know if this is public land?" Its in between a bunch of parks and the highway, so it very well may be state owned / public land?

After hearing that horror story, I'm no longer interested to find out.

It's my understanding that a developer owns it and is trying to get approval to build townhouses there. Imagine that. How do you like your Ural? I have a 1996 650 sportsman.

So called "public land" still belongs to a city, county, state, or federal government.

Try riding your bike on the lawn of the State House in Annapolis and see how long it takes for every State Trooper and City cop in Annapolis to get there. "But officer, it's public land."

Most of my dirt riding is done in the National Forests of WV and VA. Even there you can only ride existing roads and some designated trails. Tear off through the woods, ride on a foot trail, or go around a closed gate you'll risk a large fine, possible confiscation of your bike and maybe even arrest.

Just because it's so called "public land" doesn't mean you can do whatever you like on that land.

If you can't tell, people that think they can ride on land because it's not posted or because it appears to be "public land" piss me off. They give us responsible riders a bad name and have made it pretty much impossible to get permission to ride on private property.

I'm done now.

Hey Wayne...I must be a coozebucket too....my thoughts exactly, goes with hunters also. I always tell them do your sport a favor and do it legally. And if you ride at the state house you'll be taxed!

I was asking to find out about it before I just did it. I have heard a few 'locals' talking about riding there, but I wanted to question its legality before doing more that scouting out the entrance.

Its a no-go. Thanks for the info guys.

Mine is an early 2003 (still front drum brake, but has electronic ignition) Tourist. I really like it, its the bike that got me into adventure type riding. I have since gotten a dual sport bike, so I ride the Ural less now, but its still a blast to take out. Its especially great for camping trips when I want to bring tons of gear / stuff.

And 2 nice songs in 6/8 and 3/4.
I'm a sucker for 6/8

Those are some mad bike skills and I'm going to assume you're talking about measure/count. I know the definitions but couldn't pick them out of a lineup . With two exceptions, everything by Buddy Holly is 4/4 and Pink Floyd's Us and them is 7/7.

Yes, time signature is the preferred nomenclature.
Us and them is 4/4, the most memorable part of Money is 7/8.

count...
1, 2 3 4 5 6... and enjoy.

You never did.
I have claimed musical talent.
I am a ridiculous music snob. I HONESTLY wish that I could get beyond things I would like to play, or couldn't possibly play, but I can't. I remember liking all types of music... but now I'm a dick. Great drummer is a must.
Great bass players wind my watch too.
