Spent the better part of the day tearing apart my nerd/man cave and going to be ridding myself of some things, space ships(models/toys,) collector's items* and comic books. inventory starts this coming week but gonna give locals (you here in the LoPL) a preview before it hits the flea market. This is the second time I've thinned the herd but really, how many Romulan Warbirds** must a guy have???

* "Collector's Items" is a nice way of saying Horder's material
** 3, TOS, STNG +1 more so you have a fleet and not two sad ships

Gang,

Any recommendations for a metal shop? One of my highway bars needs to get bent back into place. I can detach them & bring them 'round, but I'm looking for suggestions on where to bring them.

If you don't find anyone closer, I can probably straighten them for you.

I have a press, a torch(if needed), a very large vise, and a BFH.

If I can get my highway bars bent back to where they're supposed to be (heck maybe even if not) I'm thinking of taking off to find some twisties this weekend. Scouting an RTE location. Anybody wanna join in?

Anyone locked in B-more need anything from Bob's? Heading down there now (1:10ish) and don't mind bringing whatever back up. Give me a pm or call Mattigan, at parts. Should be there in an hour. Will check ADV once there.

that otta be cheap at 99$ per hour.

They had the balls to bill me 45$ to take off my license plate. Not even shitting ya. They had my 650 in for service (failed attempt $300+) and I needed my plate, so I asked them to take it off for me.

I am in need of a ride!! If I can escape or at least dodge my "Honey Do" list for the weekend, I'd love to put a few miles on the ole girl.

Saturday works better for me (in theory), let me know what you come up with and I'll see if I can weasel some time!!

Cheers!
Swells

Can't do Saturday as I have to work until around noon-or so I'm told. If you're looking for an excuse to ride (like I need an excuse!), the Nostalgia Run leaves the Thurmont fairgrounds at 10am Sunday. There were some really neat old bikes there last year, and I heard the ride is really nice-somewhere around Catoctin. I'll be there on the '73 Beemer this year as it's the only bike I have in this state at the moment. One of these days I'll have the '52 there so I only have to pay the $1.
