I looked and looked and switched.

The new Powerlet RapidFIRe gear blows away the Gerbings and W&S. The heat is faster and more even, the elastic side panels keep it snug rather than picking through Gerbings 32 different sizes, and the jacket itself is much nicer.

There is a Powerlet display at the bike show. The $79 glove liners are thinner than Gerbings, too. Here's the jacket - they do have other items: http://www.powerlet.com/product/rapi...cket-liner/475

Wow Bob, Powerlet was way under my radar.... Instead of adding, I might switch. (Now where did I see that money tree?) I like the uninsulated thin shell idea. My Gerbing jacket is the old style wire kind. I'm still planning to hit the DC-IMS on Sunday, now I have a mission.

Nice pics Mick.

That Honda sure has nice lines but they don't fit "longer legged" riders very well.

Mick,

Glad the Metro routing worked out for you!

What did you decide on the Heated Liners?

Decided to wait till Powerlet releases their pant liners, later this year. The jacket seems awesome. Will most likely go into winter 2013 with all new stuff. Going to finish this winter with what I've got, with a little modification.

Now where did I put that bubble wrap?
