Just checked. Butler maps doesn't have anything for the Baltimore area.

But we'll keep an eye out.

A local publication want to do a story on BBMC and its members but especially the ones with "crazy" stuff going on. They want to take some pictures of us, well 5, especially the ones with "crazy" stuff going on. Like this Wednesday, Thursday the latest, at noon. I hate talking to reporters. Weirdly I've spoken to enough of them that I have this opinion.

At first you are kinda confused: Why do they want to speak to me?
Then you get a strange rush: I can totally do this, I know what I know to be true. Maybe I AM an authority!
The pre-interveiw starts: "Can you stand here?" sure. "Please incorporate the question into your answer"… This is where you think you've made a mistake but you have kinda talked yourself into going forward. Publicity, maybe fame, eh?
The interview: You now wonder why you are even there. The reporter should have just said what they wanted to say, credit an anonymous sourse and been done with it.
So f*ck this guy. I don't have time to do his job, I feel I barely have time to do mine. I'm going to say "I'm sorry I can't help you in this time frame, you are welcome to come to BBMC's next get together and talk to our members."

My best friend in the world & I, my brother-from-another-mother, we have this saying. "Our lives seem perfectly sane & normal until we start describing to other people." Then they get the look on their face. Sounds like you're the same kinda guy - that's why they wanna talk to you.

If we have a sizeable (well, growing) club, there's no reason that you should have to do all the legwork and reporter-talking (for heaven's sakes you do enough already). Shoot, send that reporter over to Jay. That'll keep 'em busy for a while, if they don't run screaming. I also won't mind talking to them - being a sports coach, you learn to talk to reporters.

It also sounds like this reporter doesn't know how to do his bleedin' job and is lazy to boot. Most reporters I ever talked to, wanted you to talk and talk and talk, so they had a lot of material to work with. They could edit it down to whatever angle they were fishing for.

It's a volunteer gig that we're doing because it's a hoot. Don't put yourself out if you don't want to.

What would YFFs think of another Baltimore Escape on 5/6 at 4pm. Second verse, same as the first. Thinking of Thurmont as a destination. Just spitballing here.

Just got back from Annapolis, my Jodi had a piece in an Art Show.

Best part of these things sometimes. Not his time, lots of good work. (No photos please.)

I remembered the restaurant. The Mountain Gate Family Restaurant

I love how most of the reviews are "Poor to Fair"

I'd rather not go here again.

My youngest (Myles) Mick with his third place creation "Eiffel Donuts" or something like that. $25 clams for his effort.

Art and artists all over the place.
