Maybe I should change my sig line to "Too old to drink cheap beer."

30. Schlitz. I loved Schlitz until a few years ago, when they made a big fuss about reintroducing the "Classic 60s Formula," which tastes yeasty and sweet, like an infected donut.

The dude that wrote that article doesn't know what he's talking about, Schlitz has always sucked.

29. National Bohemian. As one of the few Americans who's never seen The Wire or flashed my tits at the Preakness, I'm largely shut out of the Baltimore conversation, but I HAVE had a Natty Bo, which qualifies me to say, Sure, I get it, hometown pride is nice sometimes. But you do know there are other beers, right?

Natty Boh hasn't been a Maryland beer for a very long time. I think it's brewed in Texas.

25. Yuengling. Why are people so into Yuengling? It's quite popular among the Pennsylvania ex-pat community, which is odd given that the beer sucks...

He obviously has his head up his behind.

I haven't had a PBR in years, but it used to be very good beer.

It was my #1 beer for many years.

How ya like that cover I made? Designed it while drinking PBRs.

I once drank a whole case of Schlitz by myself when I was 20 y o.

I think I would have amounted to more in life if I hadn't done that......

Still made by Pabst in Milwaukee.

Thanks Hack, I hadn't seen that clip but have met some members of the British Handlebar Club. In Norway, 26 months ago. Which is funny since very recently Norway has been a topic of conversation... If you find yourself in Oslo, try to visit Willy's. Not the fanciest but owned by a Jamaican-expat musician that plays reggae versions of 60's classics. Bob Dylan is his favorite and was so pleased to play for some Americans who knew and loved the same music.

In an effort to try another of the "Cheap American Beers", I will attempt to find another in the top ten (maybe Schaefer?).

PBR sampling was a success story.

I'm not going to go there but let us know. I'm gonna snag some Milwaukee's Best and Busch as a flashback style experiment later this summer and hope I retain the friends I subject that stuff to. Currently I am dry, not burning enough calories.
