Yep, 220 pistons are crack prone. Best to go to Weisco ASAP. The 200 has a bigger carb, and seems to produce 95% of the 220 torque with more punch all over but the very bottom end.
KX forks are cheap, and all over the place for sale.

200's were produced without real change from '95-'06 the 220 came along a year or two later.

I happen to know where one is available for an extended test ride

You know, in retrospect it was just a damn fine trip.

I got Colorado in my sights next summer.

A damn fine trip indeed bro!

Colorado, you say? We may be in the vicinity.

Our family will be taking several weeks off next summer and traveling to different places in the NW & SW of the U.S..

I'll be towing the DRZ & XRR with the wagon to do some exploring with the kids in tow of the areas we visit.

Maybe we can hook up and have a couple of swigs of whiky.

Where were we? Oh yea...

Some plane pics from Albuquerque to LV, NV. I've only been on a plane about 4 times in my life. Don't care too much for it but what a view...

More pics somewhere near Torrey, UT...

Neat place...

Another Z family road trip, eh? Sounds cool. I'm thinking late August or even early September for Colorado. Crowds are gone and the weather is still nice. If that doesn't line up with your time frame, at least plan on spending a few days riding the Ozarks. We got plenty of space.

Most likely will be June-July.

We'll definitely swing by your place on the way back home.
