Great pics! We visited many of those places (like Careyes, El Cid, Tenacatita) on a year long sailing trip. I'd like to get back via moto but I can't ever seem to get past Baja.

Bringing back good memories.

I am really enjoying your trip report. I am picking up lots of new information on spots I have not heard that much about. Keep rolling and keep it coming.

Nice ride report. Thanks for taking us down to the beach. Your lack of whining about the tropical summer heat, humidity and rain are notable. Does it not bother you, did you get unseasonably good whether, or are you exceptionally Macho?

Saludos

Great Report!

How hard is it to find hotels with secure parking in Mexico? I always worry about security down there, but I see others go down there still today and have a blast. I am thinging about going.

SR... OH yes it has been hot and humid but Alamos is mild and changing at this point ... Although in CD Obregon today it was 104 degrees. I spend a lot time in southern Baja in the summer months so I expected the heat.. It does not bother me just glad to be on a ride...John

It is my thought that most Hotels here in Mexico would help with a secure place for parking, Just to have your business..I also Have called ahead and simply asked...and some if not most have 24hr security ....Hope that helps..Mexico wants you down here!........J

Always that I stay in Hotels I try that my bike is near from my room also I put it a padlock in the disc brake. Usually the safety in hotels is good. I prefer to stay in Moteles because the bike is "inside" with you, just to draw the curtains. When I went to Dallas, near Austin I stayed in a 6 hotel then I tried to park my bike near my room so I parked in the sidewalk and they did not let me do that.
I would like to park my bike near from my bed

CK,
I am enjoying your RR a LOT ....it is helping me plan, re-plan two weeks in February on a rented KLR....and you have added Queretaro to the trip from Toluca to Colima and south along the coast to Salina Cruz and back to Toluca.

Yep, that should really take me two months , but this is a pre-ride for me preparing for a winter in Mexico.

Muchas gracias
