And you still have that?

Remarkable!!!

That musta been before Joan Moody's Info-Maps for the Georgia Mountains. I can't remember when she started those, but it couldn't have too much later.

Might be hard to replicate that feeling under new ownership. I don't know the fellow who bought the land, but I hope he has the good sense to involve GT in the new project somehow. Anyway, here's hoping that whatever form the new lodge/campground/whatever takes, that it will be successful!
Thanks for the kind words, we.ll see what new form it takes.

We're glad you're still on two wheels! And that we could be a place of respite for you to regain your sanity.
There were more than a few that were in that situation, some are members of this forum.

We tried to be a home away from home for our guests.

I pinned that map to my Bulletin Board when I got back home, Been there ever since. Wow! That was 17 years this June. Plan on going by the place just to take a picture in a few weeks. Then mosy up north a bit in the mountains checking out the leaves.

Hi GT and Mimi
This is great news. I have going to TWO ever since 'Dr. Steve' introduced me to the place back around '01, and I in turn introduced some of the AARSE's there.
Since TWO closed I have been staying in other places...motel in Dahlonega, Blood Mountain Cabins, Airfield bunkhouses(in fact will be there again this week), but I sure miss room #4.
Hope the new owner keeps a lot of what made TWO, TWO. And I will be sure to free up my first days off after the reopening for a visit.

Ah yes...room #4. Absolutely the best value in moto-centric lodging. My FloribamaRiders was the last group to stay in the lodge the week that TWO closed down the weekend before Thanksgiving several years back and we all had the sinking feeling that it would be our last. Hope is alive and we look forward to coming back home next spring. Mimi, sure hope you come back to serve.

Rm#4 is no more, it has been removed from the building. Part of Bills' new vision.
