Another tip of the hat to Peyton. Should he be MVP or comeback player of the year? Also, please note the performance of Russell Wilson today of the local Seahawks (it ain't really a sea hawk, but is a hawk). I think he is the best quarterback in the league.

Peyton should win MVP, Adrian Peterson should easily win comeback player of the year and Russell Wilson is a steong candidate for Rookie of the Year in a strong rookie class.

A very good win
![]() The 49er/NE game was a nailbiter, but thanks SF for holding on and knocking NE down the AFC ladder a notch.

Yes, I am looking forward to the 49ers vs Seahawks, Anytime prissy Tom Brady can get knocked off, I am happy. But I do really like the Pats Wes Welker (from my alma mater) and Woodhead, two lil white guys who have the real stuff.

My oldest son went to Chadron St with Woodhead. He says Danny is the real deal. Great guy to be around. Every time I watch him play, I think "You're 5 foot nothin', a hundred and nothin'".

Yes, he and Welker are two peas in a small pod, but lots of flavor. I think they both totally fool the defense with their skills and toughness.

There are some good small college players in the NFL. Don Beebe was also from Chadron State. Sam Seale was a WSC alum. He gave me a cheap shot when I was a freshman in college, blew my ACL, MPL and MCL I have this pic on my wall.

Looks good for that. Peyton did his usual close inspection of the defense and then delivered lasers to the hands of the receivers. Hope you are watching the second best team in the NFL, the SeaHawks. They scored over 50 points in the last two games and may up with >50 against SF today (28-3 at half), which is quite an achievement.

The Patriots and Texans had some tough losses in the last 2 weeks. The Broncos lost to both of them earlier in the year, but the Broncos are improving week to week. I doubt any team wants to play the Broncos now.
Peyton is a quarterback, offensive coach, team motivator, and cheerleader all wrapped into one. No wonder he is being paid so much, he is doing several jobs. Tebow is a very nice person, and I wish him well. But the Broncos fans who thought getting Peyton and trading Tebow were mistakes are awfully quiet now.

Hats off to Manning. He's doing a GREAT job with Da Bonks.
As for Tebow - I'm still pissed-off about the way he was treated here in Denver by Fox and Elway. But that pales in comparison to his being used as a sacrificial lamb with the Jets. I hope he gets a fair shot at a starting job in the NFL....... anywhere except the AFC-West!
