I passed 3 other Husky dealers on my way to buy my TR from Eurosport, one of which offered me a better price. I just felt confident that Eurosport knew what the heck they were doing. They went out of their way to spec things out for me. They responded to all my emails quickly, and even called me around my schedule, which meant a lot of phone calls after 8pm. When I got there, I was even more impressed. They greeted us, worked hard to make sure I could take the bike that day, and even put up with my dog hanging out in the store. Those guys are awesome, and they are good stewards of the sport.

Eurosport is discounting

Roadscum,

Eurosport has several on the floor..(as of Friday) and seems like they were offering 1K off msrp to start with. I'd imagine there may be more to gain if your not trading anything. They've sold a bunch of TRs for their market. Most I reckon before the discount happened.

Are they participating in the discount program Husky is offering? The dealer in Daytona is not, he says it optional.

Regards, Paul
The only thing optional is giving customers the bonus. They are pocketing 50% plus the $2500 and saying to hell with the customer. They must not have a big market and are the only game in town. I would travel beyond Daytona. It really irks dealers to pull in with new bikes not bought from them.

60 bikes over the last 45 yrs....I average better than 25,000 miles a year on anything from a ZX-14 to an RSV Mille to an FJR or ST1300.

Clean air (ZX-14) is fine, I do not experience wind fatigue unless a poorly designed windscreen bobs my head around.
I've done quite a few documented SS1K's, a dozen I never bothered to get paperwork for..... I do the miles.

Depends on the date of the stock too. If a dealer is sitting on old stock, they likely aren't getting the discount or can't afford to front load the cash to the customer. Sure, let me sell you a bike I paid $6k for for $5k, and then wait months for Husky to reimburse me. A lot of small dealers don't have that kind of capital to float, especially in this economy.

So if there is a $2500 rebate on the Terra (a bike that MSRP is $6999), we should expect to pay $4499 ($6999 - $2500), plus tax, license and possible prep fee. Correct? If so, the offers I am seeing for $5799 + fees are overpriced, right?

Pay attention to the actual wording of the ad and not the internet rumors. Husky is advertising "up to $2500 off and 3.9% financing for 60 mos on select models at participating dealers". Nowhere in there do they say $2500 off any specific model. The TR is their best selling model right now, they don't have to discount it that deeply to move it.

If you are seeing one for $5799, you better snap it up while you can.

Son and I picked up a Strada for $7,300 OTD from Long Beach BMW. Maybe not absolutely as cheap as possible but I am satisfied.

LB BMW showed me their two computers they use for service (moss equivalents) and said all the Husky VINs are loaded. Their service center was very impressive. Also, because we bought a bike from them they will give a loaner bike when the Strada is in for service.

Very nice shop, very easy deal (was struck over the phone), super folks to do a deal with.

And the bike is very nice. They have a used Terra for sale I took for a demo spin and wound out a bit, and boy, it was smooth and responsive.

Do you have to remove that to change the oil?

Nice! Will that skid plate fit the Strada and not interfere with the center stand?

Regards, Paul

Sure is a good looking skid plate. Is there a reason you guys went with the decision to not make a hold for the oil drain?
