Strada on ebay

New Strada on ebay from Heinen's Motorsport in Osseo,Minnesota. Starting bid at $6199 + $250 fee. Seems like no bidders.

Could be a sweet deal for somebody.

Must have sold. It isn't there anymore.

On the flipside, if anyone wants a Motosportz skid plate on the cheap, I saw this used one listed with a buy it now of $160.

California is first, but the percentage is not quite that large.

And the beand becomes one again - Looks like Husqvarna won out

so the 3 levels of bikes - Best Husaberg - middle KTM - "us" Husqvarna - is not going to happen - it will be just "us" and KTM

"After a careful analysis and evaluation of all aspects, it was concluded to reunite what arose from the same roots 25 years ago. ln other words, combining the worldwide heritage of Husqvarna with the latest state-of-the-art technology of Husaberg will lead Husqvarna to a new era of great success."

http://support.ktm-parts.com/entries/21767170-Newsletter-May-20-2013-KTM-Husaberg-and-Husqvarna-Updates

also nice to read - "Parts supply and Customer Service for all Husqvarna models up to and including Model Year'13 are guaranteed for the years to come and will remain at the current site in Biandronno (VA-ltaly).""

No more Husaberg. Too bad. Maybe the Swedes will take it back?

Read Alan Cathcart's interview with Pierer in Cycle News ... Part One and Part Two. Part 2 has lots on Husqvarna in 2nd half, but it's mostly about KTM and their worldwide presence. Very impressive indeed.

Heres my idea of the hi and low fender together for a really different look and good protection provided there is enough wheel travel

Kevin, it's a chicken vs. egg thing. I am interested in these bikes but am reluctant to buy one until luggage is available, and I see that your bag mounts are on your site but "backordered."

Just FYI.

PJ, luggage is available. Check out CafeHusky.com.

I got a Strada to kick around on and for my son to learn street riding on. I am amazed how good the bike is.

Hard Panniers and racks available from SW-Motech (Twisted Throttle) and Touratech.

Universal Racks available from BRMoto. (And they are stout!)

Universal racks are in development from Happy Trails which will accept any of their panniers easily. (owner has a TR).

Did I miss anyone?

Anyone's luggage will fit on pretty much anyone's racks. Racks are the hard part, and we have 3 options available right this second.

Quite a few people, including myself, are holding out of Happy Trails. That may take a month or two, but I'm not riding anything for the next few months, so I have time.

I should have in stock by tomorrow the SW-MOTECH side carriers like this:

We got a container in and there were a whole ton of goodies for the TR650s and the new liquid cooled R1200GS. I see that there are six sets in this shipment and fifteen more sets due in the second week of June.
