The manual doesn't have a maintenance schedule! Or much other useful info.

I tumped mine on my first real off-road experience on a motorbike - 50 miles in the mountains in the otay lakes area in san diego. it's the strada, so the metzeler tourance tires prolly aren't the best in the dirt n' gravel. tkc80's arrived yesterday. anyhow, it was a slow speed drop. bike survived with nothin' but some small scratches on the rear-view mirror. glad i got that first drop out of the way. now i can go hoon!

But it does have the typical BMW diagnostic computer connection, does require the dealer to purchase a computer for diagnostics, and does have a 'needs maintenance' indicator on the dash.

Which means a GS-911 will probably work on it.

Hopefully at some point that will be the case. Hopefully hexcode will decide it's worth the effort to provide the software. One potential issue is the EFI is a completely different Manufacturer from the BMW thumpers. Hard to say how compatible it is. My dealer is a Husky dealer, so he bought the diagnostic computer. I'd be really curious if BMW dealers that are also Husky dealer can use one computer for both bikes.

I think there's a tendency when looking at the TR650s to think it's pretty BMW compatible. In some cases that's true, but there's a lot of stuff that's just plain different. I'm not expecting the aftermarket to develop much faster than it would if it was a pure Husky design.

Krussell... I see you have a wr250r as well. Aside from horsepower the two would seem similar. What made you decide to buy a Husky? Are you selling the WR?

Very curious as the WR and TR are both on my short list.
