But still, cool to see these guys getting excited when winning. Musquin with Heel Clickers. Hahn with the knack-knack. Who designs the other tracks? It seems they might want to contact Carmichael a bit more often. The fact that every racer said how fun the track was, the multiple lines that could be taken, and the phenomenal racing we got to see. Is this the nature of the more "open" concept track? Either way, great to see a race not decided after the 1st turn. Great racing! Andrew

I'm going to look at that front fork trick they use to help with the holeshot. Kinda like a strap for drag racing...

I was pretty bummed to see Millsaps have another off round. But I guess a dream season isn't made up of all perfect races. It will be interesting to see in the coming rounds how his knee is feeling (it really seemed to hold him back at Daytona) and how he responds to losing the points lead. If he can get back up to the top 3-4 and ride consistent, another mistake or bad round by RV2 is not out of the question.

I just wished they would bring back the 30 man gate for Daytona again.

In the early years of motocross at Daytona there was a 250 and open class. Like I said the Jammer won in 72. I don't remember the next few years?
think Steve Stackable won the open one year and Bob Grossi won the open on a Husky in 73.??? Bob Grossi was a good rider not a great rider, thats why he rode open. I do remember Gary Jones smoking everyone on the new Honda two stroke in 73 but he didn't finish because he didn't want to go through tech for some reason. I heard the reason is because he was on a oversized 250. .............I also followed the the road races back then. I think Yamaha placed 20 out of the first 20 places in the the 250s and in the soon to be called Super Bike class, Yamaha 350s smoked the Harleys and Brit bikes.........I know this shit belongs in Olds Cool but thought ya'll would want to know?

They work great and are even more important for Supermoto where you're starting on pavement!

and for the record, Roczen and Tomac took 2 of the top 10 spots. do the math on the points standings if they weren't allowed to ride.
