Inmates In/Around Nelson?

I've got a good friend in Nelson who I'm going to go visit in November, I think. He and his wife have a great place in town and I haven't seen them in a couple years, so they invited me down to hang out a bit.

Just getting things set as far as my travel dates now, but are any of you inmates in Nelson and would be interested in getting a beer while I'm down there?

Won't have a bike, though I *might* bring my gear and rent one while I'm in town...last time I was there (March 2010) Abel Tasman was a foggy/rainy mess, so I'd like to go see it again with better weather this time...

My buddy down there is an American expat. He moved down about 3 years ago with his wife. He brought his silver BMW F650GS with him (it was an '07 I believe), but sold it a year or so later to a local guy on TradeMe.

His name is Glenn, and he's a semi retired photographer.

Booked my ticket this morning -- I'll be down 4 Nov - 18 Nov. However, I'm bringing two bicycles for him as well as a bunch of other stuff, so don't think I'm going to have room for my riding gear :(.

Perhaps at the least we can get together at a Sprig & Fern for a few brews.

Bump. Might actually have a chance to fit some of my riding gear -- or at least my helmet -- in my luggage.
