Last September, Tales from the Dump...

Now do you guys remember, last September, when I posted pictures of the piles of rust in my mate Paul's (A10 Newbie) back garden on the Isle of Wight? No! then let me remind you...

I was over on the IoW for the BSA club Rally, and while there I was invited to Pauls place to see some old tat he had rescued from a barn that had collapsed. Now most everyone called him a fool or worse for spending money on a pile of rusting crud, but not all of us, some of us could see beneath the grime and years of neglect, and the corrosion bought on by a life next to the sea.

Well here is how it all looked back then...

Now I think that most of the bikes sold on Ebay, but forgive me if I am wrong on this, and one of the rusty wrecks right at the back was a Panther 120, this one...

Well this was bought by a guy called Neale, who dragged it home to Norfolk. And less than a year later he sent Paul an email saying it was back on the road and had passed an MoT.

Not the best pictures in the world, taken from the email.

Well done Neale, I look forward to hearing more on what you have acheived.

I do not believe the rust the rest of the world has to put up with.

What an incredible resurrection. Amazing.
