How did they cost you $200? You cost yourself $200. You can't expect a small business to eat both ends of the shipping just because you can't figure out how to install some bags.

I hope you don't have a break down on your trip, I shudder to think of the tail spin that would ensue.

Clearly you cost yourself $200. Man up and accept responsibility for your own actions.

Sounds like a case of buyers remorse. Got the stuff then decided it too expensive.
The missing O-ring was just the catalyst

I doubt he knows it.But maybe you should PM him and let him know this is upsetting to you.

Missing O ring, I would have called off the trip. No way you can do it with an O ring missing.

Okay, is this for real, you are really whining about a missing O ring, and you are sending them back? Or are you sending them back because the instructions arent good?

Jeebus, the inmates in this place never cease to amaze me.

Are you saying that you thought the O ring wasn't required? :

I think the o-ring should be size 46 or 47.

Hell, I would have been happy if they'd paid for any of the shipping. As it turned out, I paid for it both ways. As far as expecting small businesses to stand behind their products, (including their instructions), I grew up in a family that owned small businesses for three generations. IMO Jesse luggage dropped the ball on this one.

No, I'm not. I thought it was required. I just didn't know what size was required or how it would function.

Excellent advice and my first thought. You never want to do any mods to your machine before a trip.

Sent them back because I live in Mexico, and wasn't going to hang out in a hotel for another week waiting for the correct information or O-ring whichever was required. As I said I didn't have time to install the bags on the day I was leaving. And yes, the inmates here never cease to amaze me either.

How hard to get can this O-ring really be to replicate/source? Holy God, I would not go to an extra $200.00 expense because of a missing O-ring!

There's something else missing here, that I'm not understanding I guess. Profuse apologies if it's really as difficult as all that!

Could you have gone to a hardware store and bought a package of $1.59 plumbing O-ring selections to maybe "tide you through" until figuring out the deal of how the set up worked?

If as it turned out, you didn't even need said O-rings anyway, what was the problem of installing them without one? Did you even try?

I don't get it.

Jesse refused to ship an O-ring to Mexico?
Or you decided you didn't want the bags and they should pay for the required shipping for you to "kick the tires"?
