seeking dirt rides: day trip away from Annapolis, MD
Hi, I am seeking some dirt roads and scenic destinations near Annapolis, Maryland.
Does anyone know places within a few hours ride of Annapolis,Maryland that provide fun dirt roads or trails that a heavy Adventure bike can handle ?
I was thinking of maybe going to some private places for a challenge, but now I only have the Metzler Duel Sport tire on my GSA.
Has anyone tired any of these locations ?

Michaux is a great place to ride! Check out this thread:
Not on your list is Green Ridge State Forest. I've done quite a bit of that on my '69 Guzzi Ambassador on street tires.
The Frederick Municipal Forest (commonly know as the "Frederick watershed") is a small, but fun area to ride as well.
Buchanan and Tuscarora State Forests, plus the numerous State Game Lands in PA have some interesting riding too. Bark Rd. and Oregon Rd. in SGL 65 are two of my favorites. http://goo.gl/maps/AW9jw Lots more to explore in that area.

One of the most fun places I know of are the C&D Canal access roads, both on the north and south sides of the canal. Just a quick ride to Chesapeake City on the eastern shore.
I'm over in Edgewater, just outside Annapolis and am always up for finding more dirt, or playing in it.
