I'm not a east sider but visit the Detroit area quite a bit. I think the photo opps would be endless. I don't mind riding in the metro area even though the roads are as nasty as they come, perfect for a dually. After riding in other big cities Detroiters seem well mannered. I guess its time for me to figure out how to post pics....

I'm surprised this thread hasn't taken off? I'm from the west side of the state but the wife and I sometimes spend time in the metro. I really like it over there, bad roads, bad traffic and all. The restaurants are the best anywhere IMO. I dream of Lockharts BBQ and Buddys pizza. I like downtown and we even cruise the getto a little bit...but not after dark.
 ....The photo ops are endless. Whats the deal?

Im working on getting this tag, and have a few others in mind to get this rolling. That road at rush hour is crap, so I dont want to head that way for a detour while heading home from work. Saturday I'll run and get this tag! Be prepared as some of these tags may require carrying a piece for personal safety.

 Got it. Interesting getting back there. Actually went the wrong way at first. Didnt feel like crossing the tracks from the south. Here is a new one. There is actually two parks in this area. This is the one that is open.

Finally, something in my neighborhood.
There are so many interesting places in and around Detroit. Lots of history.This should be fun!

Got it!... You may, or may not have lost that pink flip flop in the bottom of the photo. I grabbed it just in case.

When I was there it still had the foot attached to it. The dogs or rats must have taken care of that.
