Is it an AR10 of some sort? Looks like the mag is in backwards in the first pic!

Maybe. I don't know much about airsoft, but some of them can look pretty genuine, plus there are shitloads of AR style guns around, both real and toy. I found myself wondering about the fact that in the last pic the buttstock had been removed but there was no recoil buffer assembly.....which would point toward airsoft.

This is my only tacticool hotness. It is a LaRue (LaRue lower receiver, full DMR16 upper and bolt assembly) with a LaRue/Troy BUIS, Geiselle SSA trigger and Eotech 512. I'm going to take off the FDE stuff and go back to all of its original black rifle evilness...

Oh, it is not a toy...

Ok, I screwed up posting the pic w/o the buttstock...that was a dead giveaway ! It is a Crosman M417 BB/.177 pellet pneumatic pump ! And as far as the magazine being in backwards, it is fake and will clip in either way, it holds the little sight wrench they include or maybe a couple of extra pellet clips and it will accept just about any AR bling you care to hang on it ! I've swapped stuff back and forth from my PWS AR and I like the fact that the buttstock slides right off making it compact. It uses a 5 shot .177 caliber pellet clip or BBs
I've tried out several different sights, reticles etc. Pretty damn decent for less than $75.00

Here’s something that I think is somewhat tacticool. The Five-seveN made by FN, 5.7x28 caliber, a bottleneck round smaller than a .223, made for this gun and some small carbine/submachine guns made by FN…..I think that one is called the P90 in full auto, and the PS 90 in semi. But in any case, I bought this one for my daughter back in 2008. She loved the gun, but ended up moving to NYC, Brooklyn specifically, and I suspect that the powers-that-be would take a dim view of a Five-seveN in their fair city.

In any case, when I first got the gun it was tough to find holsters for it. I ended up with this camo job. It cost me a whopping $9.95. It even holds a spare clip (sic), so the loaded gun plus extra gives a guy or girl, potentially, 41 rounds right there. The holster was made for airsoft, but works great for this gun.

Daughter came home last summer and we took it to the range. The high heels were an added touch. She shot some nice snake-eyes, the can is definitely dead.

The gun is very pleasant to shoot, accurate and mild recoil. The report is sharp and more high-pitched than a 38 or 9mm. Ammo for it isn’t inexpensive.

Here's the gun that is also my avatar. I don't know if it qualifies as truly tacticool, however, given the old-school wooden stock, but I like the way it looks.

A few of my builds.

(top) 16" middy Hbar with Jp Vtac free float rifle length tube. Polished trigger group with reduced springs. Shoots clays at 400 yds all day long (almost too easy).

(bottom) My light weight build at 5 lb. 9 oz. 16" carbine "pencil" barrel, RRA National Match trigger. Ace Entry Light stock. Now sports a MicroDot red dot sight, Magpul MOE forgrip and Magpul pistol grip.

7" Pistol upper, polished trigger group with reduced springs, my FUN FIREBALL thrower. Very accurate (didn't think it would be as accurate as it is with such a short barrel.

I'm thinking on building an 8" 300 Blackout upper for it. That would be REAL fun.
