Got me my first Beemer (after 20 bikes or so, mostly sports bikes) its been standing in a shed fore 10 years
but after poring some oil in the right cylinder i got it going. 4 veeks of riding now and soon a winter to fix all things needed attention. Not sure what way to go This is the before picture :-) jocce screwed with this post 09-21-2012 at 11:30 PM |

I'm confused, Blaine what happened to your links showing this bike on other pages? The proof if you will...did you delete it? I say keep em up.

Ahhh I misread as well then, I thought he was claiming the green as his too. All is well.

I think it's due to my quickly deteriorating brain and affinity toward pictures that I skipped over the 'details'. In either case, good luck with your build!

That's a SWB.
Having recently opened up my speedo, I don't recommend it for the faint of heart. That pretty chrome bezel is crimped on, so you need to be careful prying it off or you'll be buying a new one...that's also the only part I can find for purchase. Our resident gauge guy, wirespokes, makes those needles and a few other parts...It's super impressive. Send him a message if you really want to look into rebuilding the gauge.

Anyone have tips on the exhaust pipe fits between the brake and the foot peg on the right side, do not want to buy before i know it will fit. considering some of these and let them take over immediately after bends and stop just before the peg, what do you think? http://www.bikeparts.se/art-1.asp?id=2568&iPageID=19 jocce screwed with this post 09-27-2012 at 09:38 AM |
