Must have improved. As you say used to be just a signal over near the pool.

I used to get 1/2 a bar when that young lady the pommie backpacker was working there, but that's another story

thats coz all the brand new caravans pullers with the WIFI technology will only go there if they can get internet while they sip Chardonnay and watch the 6;15 freight train rattle by at sunset

If you want some real fun, go in the bar at the parachilna pub and ask for $8.00 worth of fuel for your bike , they dont like to unlock the fuel pump unless your filling up a new landrover

Revisiting " Flinders Classic I, 2008 " here is a fabulous true, real time sensation of "riding the Flinders", before the days of steady, clear vision helmet cams etc, courtesy of DBW inmate 'Hards" (who helped me lots not to scratch Trev's bike on that ride, many thanks again )

You can just feel every bump, undulation, corner & track elevation bringin' on the biggest smile on your face

HANCOCKS LOOKOUT

This is a nice easy side trip.
Turn left heading north at Wilmington,
Go a couple of ks up the Horrocks Pass road & turn left up Hancocks lookout road (easy dirt)
keep going up to the top (7km) till you hit one of the most speky views around.

Got to admit Rob did a bloody good job holding the video camera & riding one handed, I was riding in front of him when he took the footage, I was hoping that he wasnt going to come a croppa through one of the rocky creek crossings, but he got through all without any dramas, great effort..
