i don't think the fim recognizes us speedway at all, but if they did, im sure they use ama.

fim has their own individual championship series, the speedway grand prix.

there is also the speedway world cup, which is a teams event (by country)

then all the british, polish, swedish etc leagues.

The AMA cant even spell Speedway! They try to sell off every series they lay claim to, backstab the Promoters and control what they dont understand. It has happened to RR, SX and now the MX series. Too much liability for our small sport. The 44th United States National Speedway Championship history is all the credibility we need. 2013 is gonna be big for our little event!

So what exactly happened? I have heard about some controversy in the main event.

Found this video but sadly it has been edited.

Before the race they interviewed the riders, Janniro had 1st choice for starting position, he chose the pole saying "traction was better in 2 but I can control the race from the pole". He was all over Fox in turns 1 and 2, then stood him up in 3, you can see the results in the above video. After he tore thru the tapes, he got into a shoving match/fistfight in the stands, swearing on the mic, made a real ass of himself.

yes, yes he did make a real ass of himself.

i was standing on the wall mid way down the back straight (been there forever) the bump from janirro might not have been "on purpouse" BUT fox was in the lead, and its his line, janirro being in second it was his job to lift, shut off, cut down inside etc...... he didnt, and the call that was made was the correct call...... it should have ended there, but it didnt, and what ensued SHOULD have cause a full ejection.

many people, myself included, lost a little respect for janirro as a sportsman..... hes a hell of a rider, but not a very good sportsman.

mad dog should not have been penalized, he made a lightning start.

i have every beleif, that if fox, even in the restart, was on his bike, he would have won..... kid was on fire, my figuritive hat is off to the guy.

but congrats are in order to the bullet, he also rode his ass off, and as a true sportsman, and such a positive figure in the sport, especially the junior program, he deserves it well.

thanks rad brad for another great season. see ya next year!!

next up, speedway at pomona, then the monster speedway invitational at industry on dec. 28

ruml gives it his all, needs about 20 more lbs of ass and hell be DANGEROUS.

gino, just needs to settle down a bit, and focus, he seems to ride with too much emotion and it causes him to be inconsistant.

next year ought to be good. i look forward to the spring classic.
