Here's my mod thread: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=606931

We've just pulled out all the emissions crap (AIS, airbox flapper, EXUP motor), which hasn't made it onto my thread yet.

In future:
Storage for my tyre levers where the AIS system used to be.
Gut the exhaust (remove EXUP valve and the cat)
Make up a little radiator guard (Safari tank does a reasonably good job, but it looks like the bottom of the radiator needs a little more)

How about some fender elimination mods? Is everyone just hacking it themselves?

I went for self-hack. I hadn't seen any tail tidies that incorporated a numberplate light, which you need here to be road legal.

WRR added to the corral...

Rented a WRR in Montana last summer. Did 990 miles in 5 days. Gravelly Range and all over S. MT and Idyho. Very impressed but the bike I was on I felt had pretty weak brakes. And I just could not get used to the loading and unloading of the Wolfman
bags. Minor complaiints, unrelated to the WRR...after 5 days I knew I would be getting a WRR.

Bought the bike from an engineer who had 2 WR and needed to part with one of them.

Things included with bike: (boght with 3,900 miles on the odometer.

Power Commander PCIII Usb Tuner (big improvement in performance)
Power Commander Ignition Usb tuner
1 1/8 inch Pro Taper Handlebar
13 mm front master cylinder with ASV lever (OEM spec for Yammy 450F)
(highly recommend this plus HEL stainless steel brake lines)
Fender eliminator with integrated LED turn signals rear and front.
HEL stainless steel brake lines front and rear
ZETA Engine plugs (freebies accidentially shipped)
MSR clutch and pressure plate springs
Muffler: Leo Vince exhaust with carbon fiber shield
(including 5 set of various silencers)
Plus all the OEM takeoff items.

Side view:

Rear turn signals/brake lights:

Two brand new tires.

Additional items I have added:
Classic Pannier bags: (great tank panniers for $45.00 have 8 pouches. These are my second pair of these and are great and are waterproof in a downpour.

I've had two sets of Wolfman Expedition bags on other bikes but they are just not my cup of tea for daily use. Just too cumbersome to get stuff in and get stuff out.....too much effort. I prefer Jesse's but these Pelicans are a decent compromise for the price. $110.00

2 used Storm (Pelican) iM2400 for $55.00 each installed with Wolfman racks.

Storm im2400 Pelicans:

Installation of Pelicans: Quick and strong installation of Pelicans on the Wolfman racks. Used a
big lots white cutting-board $5.95. Misc nuts and bolts $12.00.

Side view:

Power Commanders are a hoot: The rental I had in Montana topped out at 80 gph but my version pretty easily will roar along at 95 mph GPS. BUT the replacement master cylinder and stainless steel brake lines have almost put me over the bars more than once..which is a good thing.

Tank bag from Cycle Gear for $35.00...includes a see-thru pouch for my iphone or gps.
AC charger for Geiber heated liner. $9.95 at Cycle Gear.
Arm pit mirror does come in handy occasionally .

Rear rack - hand-me-down from KLR650 ...cost $.00. Rack to be used to hold 30 liter dry-bag.

no regrets with the bike purchase. Ride it as my daily commuter. 74.5 mpg so far in 4,000 miles. Pelicans took total of 3 hours to think of how to do it...and less than an hour to mount both of the bags and they are hanging tight with some reasonably rough riding. Mounted with heavy duty fender washers on all sides and the cutting-board acts as an additional layer of strength.

Regarding tail light...

Sorry - Do not know. Previous owner installed them. I have seen others
with the same taillights. It does include a license tag light.
