Taupo Winter Classic
Had a fun weekend at Taupo, as I did not have any spannering to do other than taking off the fairing due to broken bracket I had time to wander around...
![]() Steve Bryant ( aka Sidecar Bob) owns both bikes and his missus 'swings'.... ![]() I had a ride on the R100, needs some suspension and brake work but he is faster than me... ![]() ![]() Kanes R100 is plenty fast but developed a bad vibration so he called it a day ...hope hes sorted for Barry Sheen in 4 weeks. ![]() Vince Burrel on his very fast Guzzi. ![]() post classic 500 Morini...the one to beat in 500 class. ![]() My fav outfit a 1955 Triumph. they have taken it to the IOM. ![]() Young Tyler Lincoln, up and coming, not yet 15 on his 75 kg RS 125 Honda with 45 HP.... ![]() ![]() and the Mighty Ninety, went really well and I looked up my times from April and have improved by 7 seconds a lap.... . check out my $150 ride on stand...uber cool.

Ja ja sehr cool.
I noticed there are more than one disc on the front of all of those bikes. What's that about? Is one a spare so you don't have to change wheels - you just change the brake cable over? Surely you can do better than the old green drink bottle as a catch bottle? Surely there must be some German beer bottles in plastic? Was Bernards Guzzi there? Did it win? |

Manfield. To tell you the truth I don't think I can last that long. I'm thinking of coming over in a few weeks once Schmidt is running really well.

If you are over here for your Xmas holidays there is the CDMTC track day (3rd Jan I think) at Manfield which would allow you to take Schmidtty out for a run.
