The yard I work out of is in Baldy Mesa. Hasn't rained here since 9 am but all the dirt is saturated. All the cloud cover will help keep the moisture in. A little bit of clearing to the east has exposed pretty low snow levels in the Apple Valley foothills.

I'm thinkin Copper City Road or Shadow Mountain.

Can't wait for Saturday!

Stopped here about 10:30am. Forecast says lots more this afternoon through Friday AM.

Raining again at my place in Apple Valley for the past hour and a half. Hell Yeah!

My son is riding that gnarly stuff "Purgatory" in the Sycamore Rocks area tomorrow, then him and his buddies are hitting foothills singletrack on Saturday.

I have to keep my riding low key on Saturday since I'm only 7 weeks out from my knee cleanup and I don't get my new knee braces until Tuesday.

I'm riding from my place North out to Silverlakes, then along trails next to Shadow Mountain Road heading West to Hwy 395. After crossing 395, lots of fun flowing singletrack heading toward Lake Los Angeles and looping back to 395.Nothing technical, just fun trails with a few bitchen washes too. I expect to ride about 100 miles, very casual pace to take care of my knee.

If anyone wants to join me and my old racing buddy, hit me up. Stands up at 8:30.

CC sounds like a good call for today, wish I could join you. I'll post up a foothills snow report when my son gets back from his ride up there today.

Dude, you need to do a Landers/Pioneertown ride from the desert side, much more fun than those mountain roads!! 3-4 miles east of Boone Rd, and south of 247 the playground begins!!

Got back from a classroom in Riverside at 4PM. 200 miles... Cajon Pass was clouded in. Riverside was rainy. Sunny from Mojave Mutts house and beyond. I hate going down that hill now.

Glenn, I am soooo jealous! Nothing better than the the desert after a rain. I've got family in town the next couple of weekends, so no riding for me.........
