where to buy cheap used bikes in france
hello great adventurers!
i'm writing from the far away lands of brazil, in south america. i'm used to trip across brazil and some south america countries in my old and trusty aprilia pegaso 650cc cube '01. buuuuuut... now i''m planning a trip across europe, across france, italy and greece. and looking into some bike rentals agencies, and specially onto theirs prices, i started to wonder if wasn't a better idea to buy an used bike, and put in some km across europe, and then sell it again in the end of the trip, saving some bucks and enjoying it more freely, without further worries. i'm currently planning to stay something around 40 to 60 days, so its not that long trip, but i don't mind loosing some bucks to sell it quickly in the end, so... i need recommendations from you, europe people, to good, nice and trusty places to buy some good bikes at fair prices in france, anywhere around paris. and, another think, is about bike documents, insurance and all that stuff. how is that handled for foreign people? is it possible? so, any clue?! thanks! |
