How many people do you know that want to ride a 2 stroke on a 1200 mile 3 day ride?

Your bike must be road legal!
You must be able to survive riding it all the way to the end, and back!

We chat with mechanic and team manager scott spears, followed by luis, as they are on a layover on their flight home from chile. Thanks for taking the time to speak with us guys, and congratulations on a job well done!!

I _could_ ride my Gasser, but I'd probably need to do a top end when I got home, and my ass would be sore as hell on that seat!

I admire the guy that rode a moped to Prudoe bay too. I Dont think he was doing anything other than proving it could be done though. Before you decide to bring a Chain saw to the Roaming Rally I would work out how many hours a day you can really ride it without it blowing up or your butt falling off.

Also note that this rally has left a trail of people and businesses that want us to come back. The comments from the starting point camp and the resident campers at that site over the day following the rally last year were all very positive and enthusiastic. Pulling a non legal, or worse, noisy bike into that mix will begin to change that. I hope that campgrounds and other bussinesses start throwing free time at the rally organizes someday in hopes of convincing them to use their site. That kind of enthusiasm, both business and personal, builds a lot of support for rallies and motorcyclists. A few noisy bikes in a camp full of older folks can ruin that fast. 1 oh sh1t = many thanks...

That said If it is truly legal then I would admire any attempt to slug it out on a 2 stroke just to prove it could be done. I should point out though that that admiration wouldent match that for what it took to get a Moped to Prudoe. So your glory would fall somewhere just short of a guy on a moped !

There was an episode of Seinfeld where George did that. You probably should watch that before you try gluing on any hair

Cool2 All parts accounted for...

This is a public service announcement. All farkle bits for my F800GS have arrived. Installation of the windscreen will take place tomorrow. And then it's good to go. Someone please inform the weatherman that Winter can end anytime now.

Have you ridden the bike already? What do you think of it?
