In like a bike in a mud hole

Well I had a great time last year and sounds like more fun next year. Bring on the mud, water, sand and rocks looking forward to it . Black Cadillac's are coming for this one.

Hope you all have a good time and don't lose anyone in the bush.
Empathize with you, if you're speaking to the increased rigidity of the structure.
This ride has gone the way of many, and it's not anyone's fault. Just the way things have to be for the sake of the organizers. The way it began is the best format for everyone (imho), except any finger-pointing idiots who decide to create an issue.

Anyway... In!

Anyway... mess of a conversation I've contributed to. My sincere apologies.

To the best ride of the year . Period.

Wicked I'll decide...

2. In years past the suggested route has been tame with optional technical sections. For 2013 the route does not have these optional tech sections, they are now part of the main route. This makes the route much more difficult. The route is no longer appropriate for new comers to the sport, two up riding, non knobby tires and people with bikes larger than 990cc may want to reconsider.

I think a 1200 can make it.

You'll notice the date was set without conflicting with the race in Montreal

I'm not going to the F1 race again in 2013. That damned thing is expensive!

I've got the '13 RR inked in my calendar. Let's roll!

Too much serious crap....time for some photos...

Day One morning....

The morning of day one consists of a hundred km of double track trails. Surface is sand for a bunch of it. After completing this section of the proposed route (2-3 hours) the next portion follows wide gravel and paved roads for an hour or so....................

Maybe keeping the Giant Loop clone is a better idea than the panniers I was thinking of for this year...
