No, it's a demonstration of the hypocrisy taking place among the clean energy crowd. How can they possibly claim to care about the environment when they're supporting a manufacturer actively involved in destroying it? "Clean energy" is nothing but a dog and pony show to appease the democrats political base and shovel money into the bank accounts of corporations that support the party.

If anyone in our government really cared about the environment, they'd refuse to trade with countries that didn't follow the same standards we have in place domestically.

But while everyone was picking apart these and other flaws in Obama's speech, they overlooked the most frightening line of all. That was when Obama promised that he'd pursue "the kind of bold, persistent experimentation that Franklin Roosevelt pursued during the only crisis worse than this one."

Oh no, you read it on the internet and it turned out wrong . I wonder what other facts are floating around that turn out to be incorrect

Here's what I like about this place: We're all over the map politically, but everyone makes good points, has thought out positions and likes to ride motorcycles.
I've had beers with many of you over the years and I'd like to have beers with even more of you. (Mostly, I like beer).

Again, what legislation promoting the use of natural gas for US trucking, military or USPS has he asked congress to pass in the last four years? It is time for action and results, not more inflated political posturing. Where are his proposals?

Well, you've already touched on it a couple of times, and this is where I agree with you. Talk, talk...where's the action? I truly hope Obama will actually pursue the natural gas issue with some action. I will give him sincere credit if he does so.

Dreams are wonderful but oscumma is pursuing socialism/communism and control of you. Nothing more. TinkeringWithStuff is paying attention. Hopefully more will.

Yeah, all the right wingers in Springs and Texas seem to keep pulling this toward a CSM topic. I vote that we let southern Colorado secede to Texas.

Hey!...we don't want your kind around here. We have standards...no matter how low they are.

Speaking of secession, Since the election I've been waiting for evidence of a concerted effort by some in this state to pursue the mythical "right of secession" that many believe Texas has in its agreement with the U.S. when it agreed to annexation back in the day. I've been holed up in my bunker for the last few days only coming out long enough to check on a couple of helicopters I've heard overhead.
