That's fascinating. It seems my info is wrong on when "in god we trust" began to be added as a motto. This needs more research.

Here's what I like about this place: We're all over the map politically, but everyone makes good points, has thought out positions and likes to ride motorcycles. I've had beers with many of you over the years and I'd like to have beers with even more of you. (Mostly, I like beer).

Well, you've already touched on it a couple of times, and this is where I agree with you. Talk, talk...where's the action? I truly hope Obama will actually pursue the natural gas issue with some action. I will give him sincere credit if he does so.

Dreams are wonderful but oscumma is pursuing socialism/communism and control of you. Nothing more. TinkeringWithStuff is paying attention. Hopefully more will.

![]() Speaking of secession, Since the election I've been waiting for evidence of a concerted effort by some in this state to pursue the mythical "right of secession" that many believe Texas has in its agreement with the U.S. when it agreed to annexation back in the day. I've been holed up in my bunker for the last few days only coming out long enough to check on a couple of helicopters I've heard overhead.
