Pacific North West - motorcycle heaven
Great RR. I've just returned from 3 weeks in the region. I picked up a '96 1100 GS from and inmate in Missoula Montana for about the same cost as 4 week's GS rental. Rode MT, ID, WA, OR and Norcal - about 5300km over 14 riding days. Not much dirt but plenty of "scenic byways" and no interstates.
Just beautiful riding country - so different to what we have here! I've left the bike with family in Portland and intend to do another trip next year, and maybe the year after... |
