A 1938 Ariel, Dad said it was a 350, cost $350, a 500 would have cost $500.

It didn't come with a buddy seat so dad had the local blacksmith weld one on. He commented that it would be a rather rough ride, Dad replied "no big deal, I won't be on it". Next time the blacksmith saw them, Mom was piloting.
