Triple Black Paint Work

Does anybody have any ideas on how to clean the paint work on the triple black? Everytime I wipe the (shiny part on the shroud and above the battery) it leaves a mark. I even bought a special cloth but its driving me crazy, you wipe it and the mark comes off and then you look at it from another angle and its back I think I might have a cleaning disorder

The dealer probably wiped it down with some sort of liquid one step cleaner/ wax. Wash it with Dawn dish washing liquid. Dawn will remove anything they put on it. For protection apply a quality synthetic sealer that won't leave white residue on the mat parts. Get it from someone that details upper end cars. All you will use is 5-6 drops for the bike. I bought a 16oz bottle of Wolfgang sealant 5 years ago and have used it take care of 3 cars. I have only used a third of in 5 years. GH

Die Triple Black is moeilik om skoon te hou, gebruik Meguires, werk op HD's en BMW's....

All sorted - took a fall in the pouring rain and mud on a trip from Port St Johns to Kei Mouth. Thats what happens when you ride 95/5 road/offroad tyres in the mud. Just got an e-mail from the headman in that area thanking me for ploughing the lands for him. Not impressed with the gear lever (quite bent) luckily I had mx type boots on or I would have had a gear lever in my leg. Another GS 800 just started running on one cylinder on day two its still under warranty and BM say its got no compression on the one cylinder, still waiting to see what they say.......
