Jaybo, are the quads going to be mixed in with the bikes, or starting after as this list suggests?
Start order will become irrelevant very, very early in the piece - the Super Special Stages on the Friday night will see to that. Start order for Leg 2 will be based on the overall result of Leg 1 (the two SSS's). The Quads will start the SSS as a separate group, as we can't run them with the bikes on the SSS course, but in the rally stages it will be as per previous years.

The dust down there is very bad at the moment (I was shown a photo today, taken yesterday, of a D9 coming along a rally road to tow a semi loaded with Water Corp pipe up a steep hill, and you couldn't see the D9 through the dust - and it was coming towards the camera and there was no wind!) so the small entry numbers should allow a reasonable separation. We'll separate as much as possible, especially at the pointy end where the speeds will be very high.

Ciao
JayBo

Only 11 bikes starting... my son said to me "I reckon if you push hard you might break into the top 10", however I am more realistic about my chances...

Hey Pete are you trailering your bike down ? by the sounds of things I may need a trailer down there to run the remote fuel stop/ splash and dash......saves me towing an empty one down ( may not be using my ute for the weekend )

should be a goodnight at the farm on Saturday night , I'll organise some BBQ packs, just need numbers, let me know who needs catering for.

Yep - awesome!. I would have towed my trailer down for the fuel dump, but definitely nice if we can use one that's going anyway.
Cheers

Well, that is the training program complete.
Pete came out for a bit of road book practice, so he is all good. Grabbo and Fishy had better be watching their mirrors.
Bayden came along to teach us how hard it is to pick up a 990 with 45 litres of fuel on board.
That is an awesome machine. Too bad he couldn't get organised in time to do the QFR this year.

Riding to the road book takes some adjusting to, but yes, fun and some satisfaction achieved today. Looking forward to Nannup.

Hi Bully, is there room for a few more? Myself, Dean [maybe], Chris G, Wrensch, Steve...

Lots of hands...I will try getting down there on Friday, to lend a hand. I think most will travel early Saturday.

Cheers
