"following along"?
Good, the best writing transport the reader, its a time warp. It has happened to you, but its happening to the reader, us. I (we are) am with you with every rain drop, shiver, throbbing headache, breathe taking view, revelation and tear. The very best to you. |

Thank you for the great ride report! I can only keep up with one or two at a time and I am thoroughly enjoying this one. Hopefully this is just the first of many mc trips in your future.

The End...?
I'm a bit surprised to have reached the last page and not reached the denouement of this extraordinary tale. Well, bugger.
I suppose as I have a few more hours stuck at the computer, I should go back to the beginning and start again.

Thank you for your RR! Very inspiring, very well written. Seems I was there riding in the rain, snow and sunshine with you. You have a great spirit!! Keep up the good work.

Thanks!

Thank you for your honesty writing this report. I expect to feel many of the same emotions that you did when I do the same trip this June. I will also be riding alone but will have a special person in my heart along for the ride. In this case it will be my dad. Thanks again for your very personal way of bringing us this story and very important event of your life.

I have an '89 Radian that is still a lot of fun to ride. It usually gets around 45-50MPG, unless I'm rolling 2up and/or with luggage at interstate speeds. With more throttle required, it starts sucking the gas. 80 miles to Reserve is about the worst I've done too.
That peppy engine is ridiculously smooth though, with a nice growl even with the stock pipes. It makes for a visceral kind of experience, as a motorcycle ride SHOULD be, IMO. It's a great bike for smaller people that like to tour at speeds below 70MPH on a modest budget. By the time I need gas, my butt is ready for a break anyway. Yamaha hit a home-run with this parts-bin UJM, IMO. Kommando screwed with this post 03-17-2013 at 09:16 PM |
