Over $30 to park a motorcycle at a motorcycle race is just an insult. They aren't starting the track or the race off well. And no shuttles. I guess F1 got all the attention and MotoGP just pays the bills.

Schwantz not wanted?
Statement by Kevin Schwantz
I have read several reports regarding my attendance at the MotoGP test last week in Austin. I would like to make this statement: "I had been in Switzerland over the weekend where I was the guest speaker at the St. Gallen University. I returned to Texas on Tuesday evening and on Thursday I was at CotA for the MotoGP test, with a proper credential supplied by the Attack team, to coach Blake Young. Additionally I was an invited guest of the LCR Honda team. While there, CotA security informed me that CotA management requested I leave the track immediately and was not welcomed at the circuit. CotA's security force also accused me of criminal trespass and warned I would be arrested the next time I entered the track. This comes as a tremendous disappointment to Honda, Blake Young, and myself. Especially because I am single-handedly responsible for bringing MotoGP to Texas and for the initial design of the facility to accommodate MotoGP racing." HMMMMMM sad deal there...

Kevin brought MotoGP to CotA and was booted out of the deal just like the guy who brought F1 to CotA. Looks like the management of CotA uses up people then gives them the boot when they find an out. I believe there are on going law suits between CotA and both Kevin and the gentleman who brought F1.

Thanks Assfault, just what I was looking for. It's a shame about Schwantz ordeal I would boycott the race but if we all did that it would only eliminate another GP venue. bete

Someone should set up a booth outside the track to sell t-shirts with Swantz's picture on it, saying "Let Kevin in or we won't be back".

MotoGP specific FAQ posted on COTA website.
http://circuitoftheamericas.com/faq-motogp Trent: I believe the $30 (+tax) is a pass for all 3 days. Not to bad for parking. Most event parking I see (in Toronto @ least) is $20 for a hockey games/concerts. Then again street parking @ meters for motorcycles is free in Toronto proper.

$43 includes tax and fees, all three days to park your bike. This lot is close to grand stands.
