Zanol is in, Helder takes another stage win by 19 seconds!

Bravo Helder, bravo Honda. I like that guy.

So it's to Helder today also!
Absolutely. Bummer for his mechanical, it would have been a much different race. I would love to hear what conclusions the teams walk away with from this one...

KTM: "Uh oh"
HRC: "Yes we can!"
SpeedBrain: "Ok boys, while those two divas quarrel, let's steal this from under their noses"
BF: "Will race for sponsors"
Yamaha: "1st of the privateers. Pas malle"

Gotta say I am impressed with Pedrero. I remember it being discussed in another thread, but he might be ready to take on a #1 spot once Marc quits or moves on...

Or "maybe we should have supported the cheap structure from the guy that won today's stage with a few more yen and we would be doing much better than we keep doing with the french/dutch" :)

It's probably not in those terms. Helder is thankfull to Yamaha Portugal and they parted in good terms. Helder made a point of expressing his gratitude to Yamaha Portugal's manager in the same comunicarion in which he announced going red. What always amazed me was that in European terms Yamaha toasted what seems a lot more money in riders/teams without half the results/consistency of Rodrigues.

Loved this! That satellite tracking was awesome, helps one get a feel for the terrain. If only it updated everybody at the same time...... Two months to get that sorted....

The Speedbrain Huskys did a fine job, both riders and machines. Are these the real thing, no BMW dregs in the system?

Hoohah!

they are still a hybrid contraption, 449 engines cradled in 450X frames, they are the business!
