sofa king. We. Todd. Did.
I could probably learn to like a lot about it that I currently think is fugly. For example, the lights. Ugly? Sure. But if they are the best baddest ass lights then it's fine by me. But that spork? Holy jeebus is that hideous! Unless I'm wrong, correct me if it was designed to better slice through the deer that jumps in front of you. If that was the case, then it would be AWESOME! Well, at least BMW did me a favor and saved me a butt load of cash |

Those air intakes look like they're in a great location.....to gulp in water......

I wonder? They're certainly higher than the intake on my 09' - right on top (OK, a bit above.. ) of the right cylinder basically. It would be interesting to see it in action...

Thanks for posting these Teiz!
I haven't been keeping up with whatever the press has been saying about this bike so this may be old news to everyone, but I am surprised that the controller set up of the RT/GT is being carried onto the GS. Any close ups of the instrument cluster? All in all I like it, but I will stay on my good old 09 GS while you guys work out the bugs and get the aftermarket fully in gear.

Thanks for posting all those pictures. I think it's ugly (and I'm not one to call the GS's ugly)...makes me wonder if that engine will fit in my '09 Adv.
Is it just me or does it look a lot more like the Explorer and Tenere? |

I have little to say

Too much plastic bodywork. Looks like it will take a lot of time to get to the part your changing...read expensive to service. The wet clutch will be a relief for many but, are the friction clutch plates easy to get at in case they need servicing? More questions than answers. I'll need to see it in person before I vote. It doesn't look much like a BMW anymore.

Thanks for posting all these pictures TEIZMS ! ! I will have to agree with a few inmates that posted above, it does look like a lot of plastics and it is a little too angular for me, just very glad I got my 2012 ! ! I always thought that the GSA was a beautiful machine from the first time I saw one flying by me on the freeway, but then again after time these new lines might start to look a little better ... not sure though ...
I am sure someone has asked before, so I am sorry if I ask again, but do we know when the new GSA will come out ? or are there better or newer pictures than the "spy ones" we've seen on this thread ? |

bmw
99.9% wont leave the hard top so it dont much matter , they will get farkled up by long hour working dudes with lots of cash who dream of an off road adventure but dont have the time or confidence to make a trip. I wish i could meet such a person before they buy and say hey mate, first look at what your doing, step back and decide that your going to take more hours off, do a bmw off road course, dont buy any hard luggage, just get a light setup and cooking set, now take off and camp and see your country , write about your experiences and the people you meet , in some old journal. Then as you ride down the road near your house on your return, feel that feeling that only going away can give....Now this is why you buy a bike.
