yep, easier on the frame and potentially the legs too.
Do you think the muffler needs a brace at the rear?

Richard I have been trying to work out getting down there for that since the first one. I'll get there someday@!
![]() Jenna, today i adjusted the new clutch cable, cleaned the shift lever pivot, installed the new rubber (Michelin DEsert front, and D606 rear,) and got the repaired headers back on, leak free I think Cleaned the float bowls, and drained a half a quart of oil. (It was overfilled, dont know how) Rode it around yard. Good as it gets for now. Still taps quite loudly on the right side when cold. Probably rocker lash, hopefully not too bad, meaning hopefully wont have to wait til lthe last minute to get new rocker bushings like last time. Yeah right. ![]() Need to douse the whole thing down in WD40 again a few times, and will have to attack blinker problem (noblink problem). Get the trialer light adapter working on the car, and put the new trailer license plate on.

Hey Mark
. Got the can for 36 bucks and the mid pipe for 40. I had passed up an awesome deal on the combo for 52 bucks Oh well. I buzzed around going through the rev range for about 20 miles, and although there is no noticable improvement, I believe it to be quieter at higher revs. Oh, and no flat spots detected. Plugs look normal.@Jason, I made plans to have dinner with JJ and hopefully Pete on Thursday nite. So plan on that. I have to teach an advanced rider course this sunday. So I'm keeping the worn 606s on till later next week. Then a tire change, might change shaft/final fluid as I don't remember the last time I did except when I got home from RWV last year. Hmmm........I also might fab up a light bar to mount my LEDs above the headlight Rallye style! Then I can get the blinkers back where they belong. I dunno. Maybe too much with work and planning to leave. We'll see. Anybody know how to make flat stock out of round stock for a mount point. Like so......

flat stock out of round stock?
I got something like this for CHristmas- Got it somewhat cheaper because it was a 1500 model, and I think they are discontinued... but its probably going on the helmet. Got it for nighttime mountain biking http://www.niterider.com/pro-1800-led-race-2013/ Awesome score on the pipe. I need something along that price range for the Foosa project.

I figured a hammer, but thought maybe heat it with map gas and compress it in a vise may be a more dignified way to do it. Dunno, I'll try when I get home. I have a helmet light from advmoster. ![]() Very bright! But I took my crash/bent bars off and had LED's mounted on them. So I took the front signals off and put them on the hand guards and mounted the Leds on the headlight ears. Meh, don't like it. So I'm thinking a "hoop" over the headlight with mount point, kind of like is you were to mout them on top of your roo bar. ps did you notice that there are 59 bikes on the entry list. yikes

59 bikes means 30 second intervals! Crap i hate those :lol
I do know that Mike and Dawn are bailing, so thats two down.. I think more people will bail than will enter last minute. The heat and vice does sound much more civilzed. Thanks for the heads up on the pipe, i'll check it out

Your patrol tap? (wrong word i guess) was still open, your float needle didn't close properly so it leaked petrol into the engine? (yes such shit happens) |
