And in global news...

Brazilian riders can lane split!

Youtube wanted me to see this video, and I figured Reaver might be interested

That rider will sooner or later spend some quality time in a hospital bed. On another note, he will have insurance money to buy another bike, and the cycle will repeat.

And that's how I get all my spares..........

What comes to mind:

It IS a Trophy model.

Strap two panniers on that and see what happens.

Almost 9 minutes and no SPLAT?

That rider's awful fidgetty and blips the throttle in neutral like it's a Harley.

I can hear the other riders mental screams "FYYFF!"

I don't see large SUV drivers with entitlement issues or Minivans full of whiny kids with cellphone distracted mothers.

I can't see his tailrack. Maybe it's a 30 minutes or free situation.

Does Brazil have Healthcare like Canada?

I bet the drivers he passed won't go around his body...................

It's funny how cultural differences make things a lot worst (or better) depending on the point of view. Some times it gets even more interesting when F.E.A.R. (false expectation about reality) comes to play... But, yeah, the response here reminds me of my own reaction when I hear about school shooting and SUV's moms, and... so just leave it be. But Reaver made a nice observation - the car drivers kept their lines, so no harm to the rider. That's the way we do. Otherwise, why would we have a bike and use it to commuting if you can't go faster and with more freedom than the cagers?
On a side note: the rider in this video was just a bit faster than he should be... way faster.
Cheers every one, a happy new year and all the best for you.
Arjones, from Bahia, BraSil (not speeding like that, but surely splitting lanes).

That was my main observation. I can't read the numbers on the speedometer but the needle was past top centre alot (and tach near redline) which is 120kmh + by my speedo. In traffic.

Ahhhhhhhh to be young and dumb again.

Brazil, Brasil, tomatoe, tomahto.

I do it for charity... You know like the boyscouts need to do a good deed every day? Well my good deed is to make Reaver feel like a part of the group, understood and to give a break to his lovely GF.
