Motoworks Chicago's Johnny Scheff and Josh Muthart are teaming up. Running DRZ400S. Bike #69. This will be our first desert race, we're really stoked to be on board. The bikes are in San Diego, ready to rock, and we're riding the first week in March as a shakedown. Thanks to the guys that encouraged the effort. I've been riding in Baja for years, I'm really excited to be doing some racing. Our expectations are low, the plan is to bring it home and finish. Happy New Years

That's it? You are not gonna drop the LAMEco/Raceforthewounded news right here to the ADV brotherhood?

No time for big announcement but...
It is official. LAMEco has now joined forces with Race for the wounded. It looks like Race for the wounded has raised almost $40k due to some very generous donors. We will be coming up with a cool new t shirt and steekers too. We are gonna try to hit the $50k goal Look for the new/old and improved bikes, yes there will be 2 this year. More later..... -John

Anyone run a lowrance gps over the garmin on a bike?
I haven't replaced my broken garmin yet and I figure I might as well consider them all. If y'all are happy with garmin, any preferences between the montana and the tried and true 62?

I'll be running with a Garmin 62ST. The Montana's are fine when they work, but I have several friends that have had repeated problems - apparently with vibrations from the bike causing them to cut out. One guy I know went through 3 or 4 of them, before finally giving up on the Montana.
