Nice 'tank' graphics!
I am going to keep my 690 in 'enduro' form. I'll fend off the wind.
But modeselector your bike is so very nice! Find a white fender for that puppy!
I just got 51 mpg on 240 miles on my EVO1 tanks with one gallon left!
Now that is some killer range.
My EVO2 upgrades should be here sometime.
Nice work RR, keeping the 690 at the top of the heap for all around use, plus racing etc.
How can you not like the front wheel in the air and the RR intake honk screaming horsepower!

Baja Dad I'm curious, have you measured the range of your tanks under race conditions?
Thanks

At Race pace in the dirt and sand I was pushing to get 225 miles on the 5.9 gal of the three tanks. I never ran out but I was sweating BB's

Thanks Baja Dad-I removed the screen from the 990 intake and bracket to the RR light. Wired to the high beam for now.

I'll see how it works out. I almost sent you a pm to rig it like yours with the BD light you have going on-very cool.

I think I do about 10 - 15 miles more. You can potentially work out the percentage that I'm slower than you from that...

Just received my evo 2 tanks and some other goodies, super excited to fit everything up

DHL just sent me a customs duty invoice for $169.44, my order totaled up to $1,481.30....wasn't expecting this. Anyway to argue it? Or is it just quit your whining and pay up?

I had a similar customs fee from DHL on my Evo 2 tanks & fairing...
and another from UPS on a previous order from Rally Raid...
I think the customs fee is based on stated value...
I've received smaller orders ($300/$500) that had no customs fee...

Might have to do with the carrier as well, if something is "mailed" (=with the Postal Service) there should not be any customs fees up to $1000 value I think.

Seems you both are right. My exhaust was under 500 from slovenia, no fee. The stuff from RR was over 1k, fee due.

Eh, I'm still excited. I'll post up some pics once i get everything installed cuz this is a EV02 get pumped up thread

Such a tease sitting in a box, looking at me

KTM 690 EVO2 - Turkey 2013

Just back from a 3 weeks trip through Turkey with few friends. Fantastic country and amazing people! and the bike with the EVO2 kit did extremely well! I had a friend on a stock 690 and he really suffered in the long tarmac stretches, especially getting to, and coming back from Italy through Greece (we did a couple of times 700km per day).
Additional to the RR kit I had a Seat Concepts seat plus the Air Hawk (a god send!), Enduristan tankbag and roll bag (fantastic customer support from Christoph!).
Overall I am really pleased with the EVO2 kit, and now i just need to add some color with some nice graphics!

Here few pictures from the trip!
Gianluca
