What's your longest traveled trip in one day?
I am just curious to see how far one can travel in one day.
On a recent cross country trip, I traveled 1071 miles on my last day from Rawlins, WY to St.Charles, IL and I was worn out by the time I got home. The long ride was due to my stupid scheduling conflict, so it was not by choice

Pretty close to the same max day here - 1054 for an IBA SS1000 ride.
Realistically on longer trips I usually do around 650 or so in about 13 hours and am tired, but not beat to death. When I have to I can string two days of that length together. BUT, after passing the big in age 60 last year I find myself planning extra travel days in order to keep the consecutive days less than 500 miles. If I have time available, a series of 400 mile days is even better as that works out to about 8 hours per day for me.

I'm not big on testing the Gods. I just did about 1050 miles in two days. The first day was 500 and five hours of that was in rain(sucked). The next day was about 550. I was on a R1150R.

760, give or take. Lots of it was on 2 lane roads through the mountains of WV and Kentucky. I was still reasonably fresh, just got where I was going.
500 mile days are about the max I plan on a multi-day trip. Fatigue adds up for me.

1576 miles in 23h 10 mins for a BBG. But normally I ride 250-450 miles a day. Anymore than that and you miss this:

On a DRZ400 did 2,800 miles in five days, 1st day about 520, 2nd- 620 and 3rd- 650, 520 miles, the fourth day 360 was all I could do, last day 640. From Oregon to KY.
All days were at 62mph, pretty much on the bike ALL day, with a few breaks, for eating and such. A long torturous trip. 720 miles from BG KY to Rochester NY, a short day and felt good, bike was a R1150RS 1,400 miles-Durango CO to BG KY- nonstop a day and a half- K1100RS

One day
My longest is 1175 for a single day, but running 2200 in two days was harder. Only did that because I needed to. I've never tried to join anything with my dozen or so 1000 mile day rides.
My preferred distance depends upon where I need to be and how much I enjoy the scenery.

1254 km or about 780 miles, mind you it was -7C when I started and never got warmer than -3C. No heated gear and rode through a bit of a snow squall in Winnipeg and finally had to get off the road in Kenora Ontario because it was snowing to hard and the sand truck I took to be a sign that maybe I should call it a day and get off the highway. Slip and slide my way into the nearest hotel, the Tower Inn and was taken with it's fragrant charms and antique state, it was in a class in of itself. I slept in my own bedroll. Anyway It certainly felt like a long day in the saddle, though anything over a 1000 miles is a long ass day by any standard IMHO.

900 miles from Matagami, QC to Ottawa for dinner, then continuing overnight home.
A bit of insanity, since I was unsafely tired last few hours. I knew that, but I was committed by then (middle of night).

1,022 miles (1,645 km). South Lake Tahoe, California to Cranbrook, British Columbia and we didn't leave until mid-late morning after breaking camp and having breakfast in Carson City, Nevada before heading north through Reno. The entire Oregon into Washington section was pounding rain heading into darkness. I fell down on the steps of the motel in BC exhausted at something like 1 in the morning trying to carry the gear off the bike. I probably shouldn't have been riding about 3 hours before then. We should have called it a day in Spokane, Washington. Lucky.
