Drove up as my beloved wanted to give it a try (she does not ride). Eric C. who has been the coffee "chef" at the Georgia Mountain Rally in recent years for the BMW Motorcycle Club of Georgia had ridden over for lunch on his R1200RT. So go to chat with him. Also spoke with Paul and his wife Nomie, who are part of the ownership team. Paul commutes on his BMW every day! Their food truck will be on the roads around Atlanta soon, and they plan for it to be at Georgia Mountain Rally at Hiawassee in May. Can't wait.

I've got new big valve heads, r100 pistons and a new fat exhaust(thanks Fred

) to throw in but I have 2 tests Monday so I couldn't do it this weekend. Next weekend I'll either be putting them on or, if I do that during the week, welding a new crossover. I'm thinking something like this:

Like Spencer, I think a Y-pipe like this

would slow the flow so I'll be splitting the pipes and merging them into a single larger pipe.

I've got a Hyabusa muffler coming in....mainly because Jenna and Fred got ZX-10 mufflers and I gotta keep up with the Joneses

So if anybody wants to come over next weekend and play with wrenches and drink beer lemme know. Saturday or Sunday are all the same to me. Lemme know.

Hopefully after this I'll have a bike that RUNS and I can spend my few free seconds between classes riding the damn thing.

Hey bgood - I've still got some steel sitting on the bench but traveling 4 and sometimes 6 days a week right now. Maybe sometime in June when u are on break and I'm in ATL!

Jenna - I bought a tick for Ala Shakes yesterday - missed them at Masquerade but will get to see her up in OH in a couple of months

Dang! We just had dinner with him a week ago. His bike was there too. He was planning on doing last weekends dual sport trip with us. That's some sad news.
