It has repaired more than a few broken clutch covers (XR650R magnesium cover, yz125) / engine cases (klx110, cr250, yz125) on my trail rides and never needed further attention.
Awesome ! I do carry JBQuick, but the stick is the sh*t !
Thanks brutha J !

PS: further examination shows my cover is hooped - as it has a giant gash, and is pushed inward (sharp edges, may contact the clutch plates, mag dont bend back into shape all that well....), so I'm not gonna add any mass to the inside.
And, as a fellow 690 rider has a clutch cover with minimal damage, that'll tide me over till the new cover arrives

Hi there!

Do you know whether riders at the Dakar Rallye are using a clutch cover protection? I mean, if someone really needs those, it is them.

I know this is an old thread but I was looking for some 690 Clutch Cover info. Those Dakar guys should be running clutch covers no matter what!
Do any of you have your old damaged clutch covers you want to part with? I make the Case Savers for a lot of the KTM's and have some people asking for the 690. I don't currently make it but if I could get an old cover, I can most likely make a prototype. :)
